Having trouble locating the latest firmware for your HP ProCurve switch? Here’s where to find it:
Go to this page:

Enter the product number in the search field:
- 1810-24G: J9450A
- 1810-24G V2: J9803A
This will take you to a search result page, where if you click the little arrow icon under “Select” it will take you to a download page, where you can download the latest firmware. Somewhat surprisingly, the current firmware for the V1 switch at the time of writing appears to be V.2.12, where v.2.2 is from four years ago… Given that 2.12 does in fact appear to be much newer our assumption is that 2.2 could be thought of as 2.02, rather than a higher version number.
Make sure you get the version number correct, and that it matches your switch – the firmware versions across different models are generally incompatible.
